WB Sc ST & OBC Development & Finance Corporation is an undertaking Corporation. It is dealt by the District Manager who comes from Govt. of W.B. on Deputation Basis. The employees of this Corporation is not Govt. Employee.

This Corporation deals with the following kind of works:

♦MSY (MAHILA SAMRIDHI YOJANA)

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

1. 1. Caste Status : Scheduled Castes Women
   2. Annual Family Income : Maximum Rs. 1,50,000/-
   3. Age:18 to 50 years
   4. Caste Certificate: Certificate issued by Sabhapati or Block Development Officer is eligible.

PROVISION FOR FINANCE

1. Project Cost : Maximum Rs. 30000
2. Subsidy:50% of the project cost and Rs. 10000 whichever is less
3. Term Loan : Rest of the project cost after consideration of subsidy
4. Rate of Interest:3%
5. Recovery:12 equal quarterly instalment (principal + interest)
6. Basis of Implementation: Both in group & individual

♦SCP

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

1. Caste Status: Scheduled Castes
2. Annual Family Income: Maximum Rs. 1,50,000/-
3. Age:18 to 50 years
4. Caste Certificate: Certificate issued by Sabhapati or Block Development  Officer is eligible.

1. Project Cost: Maximum Rs. 30,000/-
2. Subsidy: 50% of the project cost and Rs. 10,000/- whichever is less.
3. Term Loan: Rest of the project cost after consideration of subsidy.
4. Rate of Interest: 3%
5. Basis of Implementation: Both in group & individual.

3. Income Certificate issued from Chairman,Municipality/ Pradhan of Gram Panchayat
4. Caste Certificate issued by competent authority (notcompulsory)
5. Caste Certificate issued by Chairman, Municipality/ Sabhapati,Panchayat Samity are also acceptable.

♦EDUCATION LOAN OF NSFDC/NBCFDC

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

1. Caste Status : Scheduled Castes & OBC
2. Annual Family Income : Maximum Rs. 1,50,000/-
3. Term Loan: 90% of course fee. Maximum loan amount Rs. 10 lakhs for study in India and Rs. 20 lakhs for study in abroad.

5. Process of Repayment : After six(6) months of termination of course or getting a job, whichever is earlier. Interest will be @4% for SC & OBC Male & Female candidates and @3.5% for female SC candidates or will be decided by the MD, WBSCSTOBCDFC, Kolkata.
