Population Census 2011 : Information on Bankura District

An official Census 2011 detail of Bankura, a district of West Bengal has been released by Directorate of Census Operations in West Bengal. Enumeration of key persons was also done by census officials in Bankura District of West Bengal.

In 2011, Bankura had population of 3,596,292 of which male and female were 1,840,504 and 1,755,788 respectively. There was change of 12.64 percent in the population compared to population as per 2001.
