Pupil-Teacher Ratio: At present is 35.69.  

Impact: A total of 1380 teachers are required to maintain the RTE specified ratio of 1:30. Accordingly proposal for sanction of additional posts have been sent to the authority concerned.

Determinant: DISE-2010 data base of PTR.

 

Student-Classroom Ratio: At present the SCR is 38.81

Impact: To maintain SCR of 1:35 a total of 3941 ACRs are required. Accordingly the ACR grant are being released as per approved AWP&B, 2011-12.

Determinant:

  • ACR already allotted – 392 nos.

  • Rest will be allotted shortly.

 

Drop out Rate: Drop out Rate in District – 3.98

Alchiki Schools in Bankura

 

There are a total of 46 nos of primary schools which impart education in Alchiki language. Vide order no.159-SE(Pry)/10M-I/2012 dated dated 20/02/2012  and memo no 50-SSE/12 dated 21/02/2012, 14 nos. of High Schools have been approved to open a Alchiki Medium Section.

  •  The children have been admitted in these Alchiki Section.

  • The process for recruitment of two Guest Teachers from amongst the retired teachers has already started. 

  • The requirement of Regular Teachers in these 14 nos of schools (@3 x 14 schools) have  already been sent to Director of School Education by District Inspector of Schools.

 

 Vide memo no. 52/PLG/PBSSM/2012 dated 28/02/2012, approval has been received to recruit 349 Para Teachers in LWE affected block.  The process for the same has just started.
